How Decipher handles your information
This policy explains, in plain language, what Decipher collects when someone visits decipherhq.com or submits one of its forms, why, who helps process it, and the choices available.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
What Decipher collects
Information you submit. When you request a file, take an assessment or otherwise use a form on the site, Decipher receives the email address you enter and the answers you give in that form.
Context about the submission. Along with a form submission, Decipher records which page the form was on, the campaign or referral source that brought you to the site (for example, tags in the link you followed) and an approximate country based on your connection.
Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages viewed, the site that referred you, general device and browser information, and interactions such as button clicks. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this.
Server logs. Like most websites, the hosting provider automatically records technical information about requests to the site, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to operate and secure the service.
Why Decipher uses it
To send the files or results you asked for, to respond to your questions and requests, to follow up on your request, and to understand which content is useful so the site can be improved. Server logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Who processes it on Decipher's behalf
Decipher relies on a small number of service providers that process information only to provide their services to Decipher:
Vercel hosts the website and keeps its server logs. Neon provides the database where form submissions are stored. Resend delivers the emails Decipher sends, such as requested files and replies. Google provides Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. Decipher may also disclose information if required by law.
Decipher does not sell your data
Decipher does not sell or rent personal information, and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long it is kept
Form submissions are kept for as long as they are needed to respond to you and to maintain the relationship that followed, and are deleted on request. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period under its own policy.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from Decipher emails at any time by emailing contact@decipherhq.com. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the information Decipher holds about you by emailing the same address, and Decipher will act on the request.
To limit analytics, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or use a browser add-on that blocks Google Analytics. The site still works without them.
Children
The site is meant for business owners and finance professionals. It is not directed at children, and Decipher does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email contact@decipherhq.com and it will be deleted.
Changes to this policy
If Decipher changes how it handles information, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be made clear on this page.
